Keyboard stars come to Oxford for the Yamaha Club Weekend.

5th-8th November 2010

Other than the launch of Tyros4, our headline news is that we’ll all be meeting up again between 5th-8th November for the annual Yamaha Club Weekend get-together. As always we are looking forward to this once a year chance to ‘catch-up’ with the many friends we’ve made through Yamaha Club.

100% Yamaha event

For anyone who owns and/or plays a Yamaha keyboard or Clavinova this must really be ‘the’ event in the keyboard world’s calender – simply because it is 100% wall-to-wall Yamaha! We have a fantastic line up of ‘expert’ Yamaha personnel – bringing together, all under one roof, the cream of the UK’s Yamaha players, teachers and technical bod’s.

Tyros4 will headline the Club Weekend

We’re all, naturally, excited at the prospect of hearing the brand new Tyros4 – and in Oxford it will be introduced, demonstrated and played by Martin Harris and Simon Inkley. As the two men who have had the most influence in the musical journey the Tyros series has taken since the introduction of the original Tyros (1) many years ago, they are, without doubt, perfectly placed to showcase their latest creation and answer any questions you may have about it.

Concerts, workshops and much more besides..

The 4-star Oxford Belfry Hotel is a superb venue for an event such as ours and has much to offer both our player guests and their non-playing partners. The entire weekend is packed with concerts, workshops and tutorials for the Yamaha enthusiast whilst the ‘dreaming spires’ of historic Oxford are just a short drive away for those who wish to escape the music for a while.

Book your place at this year’s event…

There’s still time to book your place at the Yamaha Club Weekend so, if you’d like to join us at the Oxford Belfry contact Sceptre Promotions for more information. Prices for the weekend start at £259 – although there is now a waiting list for single room accommodation.
