We’ve been hacked… Don’t be scammed!!

Glyn_small

“Hi everyone. Our email address book has been hacked and people are getting messages purporting to be from me. The message says I’m in trouble and need money. Naturally this is a scam! I’m fine and (much as I’d love you all to send me lots of money) I’m in pretty good health. I’m surprised this got through the computer’s virus defenses as it’s an old, old scam but please don’t respond.

On the BT front, there does seem to be a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel at last. I’ve had a call from someone in the Chairman’s office at BT (thanks to one of our subscribers) and they are now taking over the handling of the problem.

Naturally, as the Club phone number is still not connected, it’s too late to salvage any of our Christmas business – and if you’ve been disappointed at not being able to get a Christmas order to us I apologise whole-heartedly. All the orders we have received to date have now been posted out and should, according to Royal Mail, reach you in time.

Should you need to contact us by phone, please continue to use our temporary mobile number on 0747 352 0125. The line will be open during the normal Yamaha Club office hours 10am-1pm ; 2pm-4pm

Best regards – Glyn
