Yamaha Club Magazine: October/November 2020

Hi everyone. Our October/November edition marks 25 years since the first, photocopied, newsletter went out to a small but much cherished band of subscribers. Since then we’ve seen many changes but, both to the instruments we play and to the world in general. One essential thing has remained constant however, and that is our enthusiasm for making music. Some of our original subscribers are still with us – now enjoying the Genos generation of arranger keyboards, and we’re all still learning. Thanks to all the experts who have contributed to the magazine over the past quarter of a century, to Yamaha UK for its help and support, but mostly to you, our readers for your unfailing interest and enthusiasm. Here’s to you all!

Free registrations for members Several of the workshop articles now come with free registration downloads for Genos and Tyros5 – and these are proving very popular. You can hear and watch video demonstrations of the registrations we’ve created and, if you’re a Tyros5 or Genos owning subscriber, download the settings used free of charge so that you can replicate the exact same sound in your own keyboard. The October/November collection has now been uploaded to You Tube and you can find offerings for Genos and Tyros5 by clicking the links.
