Yamaha Club Magazine: December 2020/January 2021

Merry Christmas everyone… At the end of an extraordinary year our December/January edition sees the old year out (thankfully) and welcomes 2021 with hopes for brighter days to come. One thing that has helped many of us cope with the various restrictions we’ve been living under recently is our shared love of a great hobby – and I hope that, in some small way, the mag has helped you get through it, sanity intact! If it gives you a reason to sit at your keyboard and play for an hour or two I’ll be happy. Although this Christmas is likely to be a strange one, I hope that whatever you’re doing, and whoever you’re sharing it with, you have a good time. I’ll be raising a glass on New Year’s Eve to all our readers – and drinking the health of the flicker of light we can now see at the end of the tunnel… Happy New Year to you all!!

Free registrations for members Several of the workshop articles now come with free registration downloads for Genos and Tyros5 – and these are proving to be very popular. You can hear and watch video demonstrations of the registrations we’ve created and, if you’re a Tyros5 or Genos owning subscriber, download the settings we’ve used free of charge so that you can replicate the exact same sound in your own keyboard. The December 2020 collection has now been uploaded to You Tube and you can find the latest offerings for Genos and Tyros5 by choosing the appropriate link.
